Artist's Comments

I'm not very good at lighting and still lifes... so any help would be good.

Taken for a "Tacks" challenge.

Love the idea! The title/pin. very cool. Love the bright green and how it's off-center

Wow, that's amazing. How did you get the tack to break the water tension with such force? Great work and color choice.
Thanks --- my feeling is that it will be more effective in the actual challenge itself... in which we only had 24-hours to think of an idea, set-up, shoot, and edit :D

Well first off, the water tension was, well, tense! The water was about a centimeter above the brim of the glass. Step two --- throw!

You are definately an amazing photographer. My action shots NEVER turn out this well.

What a wonderful shot! Well done, my friend, well done.

(I love the lighting, that's great)

The only thing I am constantly astonished by is the fact that the human (an intrinsically stupid animal) keeps coming up with intelligent things - despite the overwhelming trend to do the opposite.

yeah very nice mate!!! makes me remember the one i make (lemon) !! great work !! keep it up !!
WOW...that's one heck of a shot, Lee. I think you will do very well with this one. It may also be worth putting a border on, and putting it in the prints section.
Thank you :)
